If it inspires you, what the fuck do I care? -I only watched it cause it got nominated for a Grammy for best video. My criticism is of the song (as skillfully portrayed in the video) and how it reflects sadly on our debased culture's sense of life -(witness the apoplectic and belligerent response such intelligent criticism gets here) -its bland style and sickeningly sanctimonious content.

She is amazing and she inspires me, and this shows she actually cares about all the problems in the world and doesn't just sing about drugs and sex like singers nowadays do. Maybe, you think her music will be forgotten, but i think that she will always be one of the greatest singers and her music will live on forever and touch everyone's heart all over again in the future.

Jul 20, 2010 - I love this song so much cuz I can relate to da boy who has a disablity cuz I have one too just like this boy who has braces on his legs, but instead of havin a brace on each leg I have it on my right. I can't walk dat good either n da doctors didn't think I was gonna live either. I didn't have a father after I got disabled cuz he died in da same car accident I was in. I have more things wrong wit me too not just havin a brace on my leg. I have a brain injury n my right hand is in a fist.

But I was into some "heavy" artists myself when I was 13: Billy Joel, Elton John, Roger Whittaker, Alan Parsons Project, Lennon & McCartney (to name a few). Their lyrics are also heart-felt and thought provoking. My argument was primarily about McBride's (IMO, bland and passionless) *music*. What-if anything-does the music alone express? If the music's boring or not worth listening to, what's the point?

Jul 22, 2010 - I found Martina McBride because of her cheerful songs but her sad ones touch my heart the same. I was baptized on Halloween, it was God's will for me. This song reminds me of my life-purpose, to help those disabled in the body to never be disabled in their hearts. It makes me cry but this song and Concrete Angel are stories I grew up watching around me happen. They cement my purpose to gaurd the children of this world and to help all those who are God's Will.
