Harry needs a girl like Ginny because she's not as soft as Hermione on the outside. He's been through a lot and the last thing he needs is a girl who cries whenever he has let go of them.Not saying that Hermione's a weak character, she's not. She's just not the type to keep her opinion to herself or her emotions when someone needs her to.

May 13, 2010 - i think that the on-screen chemistry between Emma and Dan is really carried across in the films that people can't help but ship them, but in the books i think Rowling made it clear that she intended Ron and Hermione to be together... of course this doesn't stop me from shipping HARMONY, coz yeah i like them together in the books as well!
